1/2 cup orange juice (or pineapple juice, for a sweeter smoothie)
6 ice cubes
Coconut flakes, for garnish (or to blend)
Instructions
Place all ingredients in a blender, breaking the banana into pieces. Blend until creamy and frothy, stopping and scraping down the sides as necessary and adding a splash more coconut milk or juice if necessary.
Taste and adjust flavors as desired (blend in coconut flakes for a more coconut-forward flavor, or add a bit of honey for more sweetness). Serve immediately or store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for 2 days, shaking if the smoothie separates.
