This tropical smoothie recipe makes a fruity, creamy puree! Mango, pineapple and coconut come together in perfect harmony.

Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 1/2 cups frozen pineapple
  • 2/3 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup orange juice (or pineapple juice, for a sweeter smoothie)
  • 6 ice cubes
  • Coconut flakes, for garnish (or to blend)

Instructions

  1. Place all ingredients in a blender, breaking the banana into pieces. Blend until creamy and frothy, stopping and scraping down the sides as necessary and adding a splash more coconut milk or juice if necessary.
  2. Taste and adjust flavors as desired (blend in coconut flakes for a more coconut-forward flavor, or add a bit of honey for more sweetness). Serve immediately or store in a covered jar in the refrigerator for 2 days, shaking if the smoothie separates.
