This dill sauce is easy to make and is full of creamy, herby flavor! It takes only 5 minutes and works as a drizzle or dip.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup full fat Greek yogurt (or half mayonnaise and half yogurt*)
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt, plus more as necessary
  • 1 tablespoon water, or more as necessary

Instructions

  1. Chop the dill. Juice the lemon.
  2. In a small bowl, stir together the Greek yogurt, dill, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, dried dill, and kosher salt. Stir in the water, then add a bit more as necessary until it comes to the desired consistency.
  3. Taste and add additional pinches of salt as desired. Refrigerate up to 2 weeks. (Leftovers will become thicker in the fridge, so allow to come to room temperature and/or add a splash of water or lemon juice as necessary.)

Notes

*For a richer sauce to use as a drizzle for salmon or dip for shrimp, you can also use half mayonnaise and half Greek yogurt, or 3/4 yogurt and 1/4 mayo (you may also want to make half the recipe).
