- 6 mint leaves, plus more for garnish
- 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) water
- 1/2 ounce (1 tablespoon) simple syrup
- 2 1/2 ounces (5 tablespoons) bourbon whiskey
- Crushed ice, for serving
Instructions
- Add the mint, water and simple syrup to the bottom of a glass and muddle (mash gently) several times with a cocktail muddler or wooden spoon.
- Fill the glass with crushed ice and pour the bourbon over the top. Stir gently to combine. Garnish with additional mint leaves.
